Would that be somewhere before manning park? Looking for a place to go snowshoeing with the family and maybe see some hares.

After Manning, where it gets drier. You can find bunnies everywhere pretty much especially when there is snow on the ground to see the tracks.
It never hurts to bring a light gun but in my experience you will not find them easily during the day. Dawn and dusk are the best.
Unless you have a dog with a good nose.

Nonsense. During the winter months, I find all kinds of them during the day. I'm up to 82 this winter - all shot between 9am and 3pm.

I gotta agree with hare assassin. I'm nowhere near 80 for the year but I've killed quite a few and if you have decent numbers they aren't hard to find.

Big Hoss - do you know if the placer fsr is being plowed right now

The road up into Gillis lake and Murray lake is usually good for bunnies, the bonus being they are keeping that road system clean so the crews can hang the new hydro lines heading to the coast.
