Ice fishing around fort st John

Just wondering if anyone's been out on the ice at any of the local lakes?
We caught some walleye on Charlie lake a couple weeks ago.
Went for a ride to Williston lake today but the ice was pretty thin.
We stayed in close about 8 ft of water on 5 inches of ice but no luck

gotta be careful on Williston ice

get the peace river fishing guide (available at crappy tire, backcountry, online) and pick a lake and go for it...stocking chart at the back of the guide...lots of good lakes nearby

What's happening on One island lake these days
