I don''t want to interfere with a thread that has been posted up on this site I found out the final score on this Kootenay WT antlers the other day my friend had it measured from an official scorer ,,what do you think it score NET ????...

I guess 192gross everything in...... Nets are for fish....especially with a typical 8x5 with a score able sticker off its base.

My friend shot this WT buck in Sept 2014 when he was hunting for elk this buck showed up so he took him he is getting a shoulder mount I am so proud of what this young man has done in his hunting carer in the last 5 years..

Excellent! Didn't really look like winter kill due to the condition of the skull. Your friend made the right call on this one. I would put an elk hunt on hold for a day for a WT of this calibre any day. Congrats again.

Hey H!, ya cant hold those things so far out from you, it gives it a distorted perspective to judge.(gotta keep it close to your body, when taking the pics, leave the push away from the body view for those African Trophy Hunters)

Fine specimen of a mature buck. As for the deer, you can't score that in inches, it's a metric $hit ton! Holy Cow!

That's a great buck no matter what. The pictures show the good side really well, but net score only cares about the smaller side. I think it grosses close to 190, but nets 168 as a typical.

Should be all about the gross for that dandy. I saw 1 similar to him only 20 mins from cranbrook once. I was on the drive with the family, it was a heavy hunted area and it was 3 pm on a sunday. It was the rut and he did 0 to 60 in a few seconds, running flat along the ground ducking behind every obstical he could get between us. Big and smart. Never had a chance to count but he was all typical points down the drivers side. Was 3 yrs ago.
