Thanks - good guide! But interior grizz are much different that Kodiak and coastal bears. An 8' bear is a good bear in the interior...

True, I just figured the sizing guide using the head would still work. Probably on Black bears as well

We'll have to test it out on blackies this spring... Anything that helps in judging them is a good thing!
