As the title reads, I'm thinking about getting a mitsubishi delica van. Anything I should look out for with these? Thanks team,
Rob.

I've heard that parts can be hard to get for them, I've thought about one in the passed too...

I have thought about it, but couldn't justify the cost when you can get a much nicer 4runner or xterra for less money.

I had a L300 for quite a few years and loved it. They go anywhere. Parts aren't that hard to get, depending were you live. Go to http://www.delica.ca/forum/ and read about good and bad dealers. If your on the Island, I would talk to http://ccautos.ca/. When I bought mine they weren't selling them, but they did all the setup. I believe they are selling them and wouldn't even hesitate buying from them if was looking for one. If your importing one, there is quite a bit to be done to them before they can pass inspection. You do know they have to be 15 years old before being able to import right?

Yeah used to have an import land rover so I'm aware of the 15 year old minimum. Thanks for the feed back guys, I don't want to get into another situation like I had with my land rover, which was working on it all the time.

My son brought a Pajero over from Japan at an auction. Cost him $300 for a guy to find and bid on it for him. The body condition is rated a 1 to a 5 with 1 being the worst. He got a 4 and the condition is like new. The cost wasn't too bad, $5000. The cost goes up when you get it here. Tires, light lenses, additional side markers can add quite a bit of cost. That being said, his vehicle, which is a '94 has options on it that you still won't find today on North American stuff. It's a beast of a truck.
