Hey, what's wrong with a '96 Terry?? We just got rid of a '66 Travelaire! Some great memories in there.
My wife passed it going home with the new happy owners and started to cry even though it's replacement was twice the size and 39 years newer!!

It was truly a dream season for me......although I didn't really have anything to do with it. Sure felt like someone else was pulling the strings and I was just the puppet.

It all started with the highlight of my hunting career...my daughter's first bear....

Our luck continued with a whitetail buck that should have been my daughters but it just didn't work out that way....

Right after I shot this whitetail my buddy came over and sat in my blind while I ran the buck home. He had a bobcat come by....three times but no tag in his pocket(I had all my cat tags). If you're going to hunt with me, be prepared for animals to show up and wanting to die....at least this year.

Still on the trail of some preds this winter....and an Aoudad trip in February.

Somebody wake me up when this is over.....

I also have an antlerless peace elk draw but wasn't overly enthused about heading north over the holidays as I was pretty burnt out from working so much all fall.

I had a great season. Tagged out myself and hunted with a few new guys and put some deer down. Started in late Sept with a fat mulie. Got one for my buddy the next week at the start of any buck. I took advantage of the new Reg 3 regs and took two WT bucks. Got the spiker on the last day, Dec. 10th. I can't wait for next fall!!

Had a great season as well started off with the spring grizz which I was pumped about. Ended up shooting a couple whiteys one in reg 3 one in 8 my old man shot a whitey and soo did my brother who's 10 a nice 4x4 in 3. The girlfriend shot a nice chocolate Blackie. Passing up many muleys and small whiteys to grow for next season. I gave up on the picture posting tried starting an account

Passed on several smaller critters, had almosts close to every time I was out due to no shooting lane, or not within bow range lots during the bow season, and ended up eating tag soup:lol:....oh well was a good season I learned a tonne...

Best year ive had in a long time. Started off with my archery elk on sept 8th ( 7x6, 302") oct 5th I pushed my son(12yrs old)up a mnt to his first goat( 8 3/4" Billie). Nov 20th I got my first goat( 9 1/8" Billie), last week of November I took my dad and son deer hunting and my son got a white tail doe and his first white tail buck. I had my son in on 3 legal( 6pt ) bull elk all within 80-100yds but he couldn't close the deal.

Learned lots and met some great guys! But only managed to put a grouse on the table, still VERY green so I would count it a good season tho! Found some nice sheds so that was a bonus. Can't wait till next year!

A lot of you did well! My season was a bust but had some good times. Went on a stone sheep hunt and saw lots of sheep and one shooter that just didn't work out. Saw a ton of elk and moose on that trip and even had caribou walk through our alpine camp! We saw lots of 7 yr olds though that should hopefully be around for this season coming up. The LEH moose hunt was a disappointment as it was really warm and then cut short when buddy blew out his shoulder. Saw lots of goats on that trip though which was neat and put some good bourbon down range as well! I pulled lots of day trips and saw quite a few deer but nothing legal and 'a not sure if legal' moose I scared up in a quiet and very close to home honey hole of mine. But I did get my newly acquired .280 Rem to group sub MOA with the 150 grain Scirocco's at about 2875 fps. This was an off year for hunting and they happen. I still had some neat experiences, the stone sheep being number 1! Can't wait for spring bear season to refill the freezer with sausage... and blood the .280! AndI need to do some work on the .260 -- either recut the chamber to .260 AI or just re-ream it as is, need to think about that. There is some wear in the chamber, not erosion, but wear and it is affecting accuracy. It might be cool to take a .260 AI on the sheep hunt if I can get load development done in time. And need to get the spring griz LEH in as well in Feb. Lots to look forward to!

2014 was a pretty good season. Hunted a good portion of it, many days in the field with my best buds, my dad and son! Ended up with a full freezer for all, and lots of new memories too! Looking forward to 2015. Some awesome hunts planned already, some new country will be explored, and maybe I'll find that elusive 6 point PG bull elk?

LOL 300H&H... Ontario has a over population of deer in certain zones and have implemented surplus doe tags to reduce thier #'s... we r just doing our part:mrgreen:. All meat was well taken care of and shared with family.

Yama, unfortunately the only photo I have of this ram on my computer at the moment....one of the more unique set of horns we have seen in the past couple yrs on the sheep we have hunted the past couple yrs, I actually was after a bigger ram and thought it was this one when I shot him. This ram is super thin and not super long but very curly, my hunting partner watched me tip this ram over first and then the other ram came over the ridge...long story short double header and his ram went over 40".
