And last of our sunshine coast bears was Moosespotter's He is a member but does not post much.

Bear was 7ft 5 nose to tail. Hide off. Mainland Hunter is doing the rug so we had no skull measurements for the spring bear contest.
Skull now scored and is 21 3/16ths Boy, it's really too bad we did not have a measurement for the contest:roll::biggrin:

Hell yeah since the world record is 23 something:lol:

Measure the length wayne of the top skull length wise from the back of the skull to the front
Then measure the width at the widest.
Add the 2 measurements together for the final score. Try again wayne. Would love to see what yours scored

I put in your 12 in box A
Then 7 4/16 in box B

Final score would be 19 4/16ths. Nothing wrong with that bear Wayne. Makes the BC book but not Boone and Crockett

I'm hoping to try and put something in the freezer as early as Easter weekend. I've talked it over with my wife and she said I could go hunting Easter Friday, and Saturday. I'm also thinking about taking Thursday off from work to get into the spot where for the past two springs I'm positive if I was able to connect I would have at least a BC contender if not Boone and Crocket. If I could just stop the shaking. Heading to the range this weekend to double and triple check that my rifle is still on.

Marc. Marc i find that if i look at something to long i will start shaking as well ,usually it has to be a monster before i do the shaking ,the best thing i found out to do is ,soon as you see it and it is a keeper ,up your gun and boom ,sooner the better ,this way you don't have time for the shaking to build up ,just my two cents worth. hunter 1947.

Man this sucks none of my areas are going to be open up for a while. I took a drive up to where the North Fraser road is plowed to and there is still an easy 4 feet of snow and thats not even to where the snow usually gets deeper.
