No, but I was thinking of having a chat. Maybe we should coordinate like the big boys from PG.

If you can get a meeting with him (good luck) and it fits into my schedule (late afternoon and evenings and weekends) I'll go.

I detect a challenge. We will get a meeting at our convenience. If he doesn't want to talk, the local rag may be interested in hearing about it. Have any of you written the times?

Still no response from him for me...I have not spoken to the times yet but that's something that should certainly be done.

Good. I will try and get a letter to today or tomorrow to him letting him know that there is more than one of us looking to speak to him, and he can't hide forever.

Fired off an email today noting that there is a group of us wanting to discuss the allocation policy. I mentioned that it had to be late afternoons, or weekends to work for us as we are the "working, and tax paying citizens" of British Columbia. ;)

Sorry, maybe I should be more clear with my post. He has the afternoon of the 23rd, or the afternoon of the 26th available as of right now. Any thoughts? I am hoping late afternoon.....

Either would work. Monday the 26th would be best, any time after 3:45 on either day. Thanks for doing this Troy. Just let me know finalized date and time.

Joe

I met with him yesterday along with two other gents. The meeting lasted about 1/2 hour. He was engaged, listened and took notes. As expected he stood pretty firmly on the fence on the issue. In the end I requested that he as my MLA make it known in Victoria that me and my family are not happy with the current allocation policy and that it should be amended to 90/10 Resident Hunters vs Guides/Outfitters. I also left him with an info package mostly from the BCWF site as he was not really up to speed on the issue. I would say he is now.

Email his office and request a meeting. It may take some time but he will accommodate (was my experience). I had to set the date roughly a month out. Follow up from any of you out there would be a BIG help.
