I put a red dot sight on my 30-06 with good success this year for short range close in heavy bush hunting.... very good. Just wondering if you can mount one of these on a Cooey 22 Model 600

... thanks

Don't know but I put a Bushnell TRS 25 on my JW20 and it works well.I can't use open sights anymore ,so it's either a red dot of a scope

Red dot's definitely have their place.

My little guys run TRS25's on their savage rascals. Great for beginners.

I put and aimpoint on the jet-boat gun and it is the best sighting system I've tried for shooting out of a drifting, rocking boat at something moving. For close range, even up to 200 yards, they are a pretty good tool.

Is the cooey drilled and tapped (it's kind of on the side on those ones)?

... that is correct. On the model 600 drilled/tapped on the side. As my eyesight is not what it used to be I find the red dot very good... resulted in nice buck in less than ideal visibility heavy bush early morning for my 30-06

Have it on a mod64 cooey and on a 8x57. Love it in low light conditions.
