Hello everyone! This is my first post on the forums as mGudmund. My name is mike and I am the co-owner/operator of North Arm Knives (a bcfr site sponsor); I am the one behind most of the North Arm Knives posts too. I've always loved the outdoors and often feel more at home in the wild than in the city. I've been fishing since I was 6 and just started hunting this year. Now that I am hunting I figured I should make a personal account so I can be active on the forums myself.
With the help and mentorship of a long time friend (user "beard" on the forum) I learned a lot in my first season of hunting. I've seen a lot of neat things and thoroughly enjoyed every outing even in the pouring rain. In early December I was able to connect on my first coastal blacktail, a spike buck! Below are a couple photos of me with my first deer

I'm looking forward to the rest of waterfowl season and hope to be getting out to the marsh a couple more times. Thanks Beard for all you've taught me this season and for letting me use your rifle! Looking forward to next fall already.
