There are 175 guests online right now vs 145 members. I wonder who the guests are and what they are looking at. Is this a normal ratio?

Not unusual at all as far as I have seen. Could be a few viewers from south of the border as this site is receiving exposure as we inform them of the unrest in the hunting community.

Probably the main reason the GOABC is trying to muzzle the site, lot of Americans will go else where if they realize people don't want them in BC.

Might also be the various regular members who are not logging in because of foot in mouth disease and the fear of bans and lawsuits. You out there FD???? Hahaha

I believe the guest could also be robots....happens on all forums and have seen crazy number ratios like that over the years.

Seems to me its usually around a 50 50 split members/guests anyway, no?

The odd time I looked at that raio it wasn't that far off 50:50.

My bad then - I always thought we usually had significantly more members than guests viewing at any given time. I shall now remove my tinfoil hat.

Actually l don't watch that stats much either, but the few times l have glanced in the past, members always out numbered guests and usually by quite a margin. Like some one mentioned, could be traffic checking out our claims...........don't be putting the tinfoil hat away yet!! :twisted:

When you google hunting in Bc the first thing that comes up is HBC followed by the government site. So any yank googling hunting in BC is finding this site seeing the conflict and deciding to hunt elsewhere. Some will be in sympathy to resident hunters others will be worried about being shot.

Americans general paranoia will help the residents cause. Lots of people get shot every year while hunting in the US so its something they think about.

For as long as I can remember it's been a pretty even split. Lots of members may try to peak in while at work but don't log in for some reason. Then there's the lurkers, good and bad !!
