View Full Version : TAG Game Bags
Anyone have any experience with TAG Bags?? Im thinking of ordering a set of the B.O.M.B (Boned Out Meat Bag) bags. They are expensive but will last forever if taken care of. Just wanted to see if anyone here has any first hand experience and their thoughts. Thanks in advance.

I looked into them a bit last summer and was darn close to pulling the trigger as well but never did make the jump. Curious to hear every ones opinion.

Don't know about TAG bags - but have these bad boys, they perform exactly as they say, in the advertising and endorsements!

Used the the season before last for a caribou. They worked perfectly, kept all bugs out and breathed very well, very durable, but a tad bulky for a backpack hunt. Washed them when we got home, ready for another season. $$ well spent.

Yah the tag bags are great been using them for a three years now and they show no wear, just wash after use. Best bags on the market in my opinion.

Yes Caribou bags! Or any bag that breathes, and keeps dirt out! I prefer bags with the draw strings and toggle locks. Cotton bags can let dirt in if you drop them or whipe out on the trail. 0_o

Go for it, you won't be diasapointed

They pack into a lot smaller space and are a lot lighter than my cotton game bags.
Thanks guys, for the guys with the bomb pack. It comes with 6 bags, 4 bigger ones and 2 smaller ones. Could you fit a bonded out sheep or mule deer in 2 of the large ones and 1 of the small ones?

I have a bomb pack, but it's a couple years since I used them. If I remember right we used two large bags for a large boned out caribou. I haven't came across another bag of better quality

What's the point? Buy some decent ones, use them abuse them wipe your butt, whatever..... Then chuck them out or lose them and buy new ones next year.

Going on three years with mine and they are great. Light weight & durable. Hold elk quarters with ease...

Is there anywhere to buy these around the lower mainland? Need a couple large sets, to take on an elk trip. Thanks

Google tag bags and order from the site or Barneys Sports. No one in BC has them

My wife ordered the TAG bags and they shipped to BC last July or there abouts. I'll have to ask her what she did to get them to ship here.
