Prince George and area predators Winter 2014-2015

Didn't want to sidetrack other threads. Anyone having any luck? I've been out a couple of times with the Spitfire and Blackjack decoy. Everything worked as designed. Buddie's Wally World snowshoes worked GREAT for $60. I've been trying off FSR etc away from any human activity. Magpies and some crows show interest. I'm new to this so probably making mistakes I'm not aware of yet. Saw fresh moose tracks and bed today and some rabbit tracks too.

Off Topic Note: You don't know me Jeff, but I appreciate you plowing your driveway regularly;-). Sounds like your family is a lot like mine.

was out a few days ago had a few coyotes answering back to my call. hoping to get back out again tomorrow will be trying some older cut blocks with rabbit tracks. try some rabbit calls see what happens. good luck

been using rabbit and fawn distress calls different stands had some feed back but not hungry enough to come in haha. will have to try the pup distress see how that works thanks

Had good luck with the wounded rabbit calls, 6 yotes so far. This cold weather should make for some good calling!

Spent all day in the snow banks.

Put around 4k on the Meindels. No need for snow shoes, just a foot of sugar.

Only thing we called in with the foxpro was a Rez dog! lol

No luck for me either today. Had a huge november though, 30+

Keep trying, every once in awhile it pays off, bigtime!

Couple of crows passed over and some good snow shoe exercise today. 4 moose beds within 100yds too.

Got my own snowshoes today, 42"x12" instead of 31"x9". Should make life easier.
