Horne Lake Trout Fishing

Hey There Guys, Little question for ya not looking for a full answer but hopefully you can point me in the right direction! Been fishing Horne lake on Vancouver island near spider lake as well as over the hill of cameron lake (just so you know where the hell im talking about) Ive fished for a number of years and had success with fishing this lake from shore but just recently began fishing from my 12' aluminum and having a hard time getting into the trout! Any Tips on what to use, How to Use it, times of year/day! Any tips would be greatly appreciated

Troll around a Willow leaf gang troll(with a paddle and 3 blades) with a wedding ring with a worm or meal worm on it. Works on RB in most lakes.

This type of fly seems to work in most lakes for rainbow for me, if you have a spinning rod use a small split shot about 4-5' above the fly and drag it around the lake at various speeds:
