Just got my Delorme Inreach SE

Just got it up and running and sent away for the rebate offer!
I went with the Discover plan... 29.95 a month and can suspend the unit for 4.95 a month...

Going out the weekend to Harrison Lake camping and will try it out... There is no cell reception and where im going so the texting feature will be nice to check in!

Its a great product. Make sure you update the firmware add all all your contacts and sync it up.

Really want an inreach so i can tell global star and spot to go &@$( themselves but until the inreach makes it so you can change the battery it wont work for me.

It's awesome texting if you pair it to a smartphone, otherwise texting through the inreach is painfull. Also the mapping is amazing, make sure you download them before you leave cell reception and preferably with a wifi connection

Exactly - mine lasts five days easily when fully charged - hooked to my iPhone & iPad texting, mapping and hunt buddy are a dawdle!
