View Full Version : Bushnell 8MP chineseknockoff
REcently "acquired" a bushnell Trail cam.....picked it up off ebay for $45 cdn. now I've got it working but can't find intel on how to set it up. I got it recording in the dark last nite. does anyone have ownners manual or link for model #119335C? Please don't send me link to bushnell site as they don't list this model. Apparently it's a "Bushnell China Ltd" product and they don't publish owners manuals online..thanks

Not sure about a manual or whether not the controls are actually identical with the knockoff.
Just one little heads-up... I have read of cases where people unknowingly buy knockoff's and try to upgrade the firmware. The end result is a paper-weight, shaped like a trailcam, so whatever you do, don't try to upgrade the cam with Bushnell firmware. It might look similar and operate similar, but the guts and software are different.
I've had my eyes on some of these trailcams popping up on the usual Chinese sites and ebay. I'm thinking of getting one of the generic high resolution ones. I won't buy clones that use looks and fake logos/branding to fool people, but I have no problem buying foreign generic ones considering the practices of many of the domestic sellers.
I'm giving this the first test tonite out on the property. I"ve got some feed down where I know a couple of does frequent after hours and I'll see what I get tomorrow. The next cam I buy is going to be branded and no f&*()kn knockoff....experience is a good teacher. I didn't know bout these things til I started checkin after I "won" the bid..oh well, my bad.....

ya shipping was $25 but still is ok. this is 8mp and the Moultree at Cabellas is 5 mp for $69 + +...oops...now Cabelas has a 8mp Moultree on for $75 + +

it was Ebay.....haven't seen one that cheap since. they all seem to be around market or above.....having said that, Cosco had them for $165 ++ Cdn and that was the best retail that I've seen...
