I am going with my hoyt protec set at 73#'s and 30.5" draw, I have silenced all I can on this bow to make it the quietest it can be. My arrow set-up will be a 29.5" goldtip Xt hunter 7595 topped with a 125grain montec. I will be using 5 inch fletches with a slight offset, I will also be trying the Tracer nocks in hopes of making for better video footage. All in all my arrow should come in around 470 grains or so and come off the string right around 270fps it will generate around 76 ft/lbs of KE.

So what are you all going with this year?

The good ol Martin Jaguar :D 60#, 28" draw. XX78 Superslams with 125gr Spitfires (Unless I get the moolah to upgrade to Montecs). Last chrono gave me about 230-240 fps I think. Lots for me :)
Need a cameraman?

I'll be using my
Hoyt Razor tec 65# 28" draw length.
28" Beeman ICS hunter 400 tipped with 125gr Muzzy
I will also be using the Lumenok this year.
I have not shot this bow through a chrono yet so I am unaware of the speed to work out the KE.
I do however know that it seems way faster than my last bow which had enough.
Steve.

Chekmate longbow. about 180 fps I think. 175gr 3 blade Wensel Woodsman, 650 grain carbon arrows and I have no idea how much kinetic energy it has because KE means spit when talking arrows. Shot completely through a bull elk last year at 25 yards, oh and a buck whitey.

If I get my collective poop to together and get out it will be with the CM recurve (56#) tossing a 220 gr. Tusker 2 blade attached to a 490 gr. weighted beman 340.

KE?... smoke screen

but it will have about 15 Newtons of Force to deliver. :)

Was out for a walk today and heard the turkeys talking.

I've just done up some new arrows. 140 gr Journeyman two blade heads, carbon shafts (inserted with polyprop rope up the middle) pink feathers (pink is going to be important). Chekmate 64lb take down recurve. Arrow comes off the shelf at around 190 fps. Total arrow weight is 640 gr.

I tend to agree with Onesock on KE. while it is important, it isn't nearly as important as a sharp head and good placement.

Looking forward to the coming season.

Not sure wether using my High Country carbon force or my Diamond Rapture but set up with 75 grain Muzzy's. High country at 64 # and Diamond at 55. I will be playing with the two and getting input from WillyQ before we go out to slay the elusive blackie. The 75 grain is more than enough. Mike
