A guy from work is looking to get rid of a Vari X lll 4.5-14X40 Leupold. He bought it in 02, and it has the shiny exterior. He's asking 400, but I don't think it's worth much more than $350. What do you think?

I just bought the 4.5-14x40mm for $900.00 after taxes from Grandlund in Campbell River, it has the adjustable focus and cds system, use that as your benchmark if you like.
