Buddy of mine found this skull this morning. Sent a pic to me and I cant figure out what it could be. I thought bear at first but eye sockets seem to large to me?
Having troubles uploading the pic from my phone. I can email the pic to anyone who would like to upload it for me.

Cheers
Dave

Start a photobucket account, upload photo, click img code and it automatically copies it to your clipboard, then just paste it in your post here.

Sounds like it could be a wolf though.

I was thinking maybe wolf but the snout is quite deep and wide doesn't look narrow enough to be a wolf.
Ill try doing it through photobucket, I tried a couple times but said the image was to large

For sure not horse, I hhave a horse skull and not a match ill post pic tonight, I just don't think the bridge of the nose is curved enough for horse, I'd say elk or moose, cow maybe

I'll say a young elk. Clearly you're missing the nose/palate. Teeth don't look too worn.

What area was it found? Could be a good help to tell what it is... Id say by the size and shape as others have said either moose or elk

No doubt an ungulate, Im on the sunshine coast so its not a moose haha... It was a fair ways into the thick bush along big rock bluffs... Their are some farms not to far away with cattle so maybe someone dumped a cow carcass and a bear dragged it into the bush.

I'm guessing beef too. I've found 2 cows left at the side of the road way back in up near Kenyon lake (Sylvester road) My guess it was cheaper for the farmer to drop it there and not pay to have it done right?

It is a cow. Eye is far too big (and wrong configuration) to be a horse, moose or elk. Back of the skull rules out the latter two.

Here is what it is:
