Hey guys, im interested in purchasing a Knife Kit, link below ( the one hes selling for 75pounds)

http://swc-handmade-knives.co.uk/SWC_handmade_Kni…/KITS.html (http://swc-handmade-knives.co.uk/SWC_handmade_Knives/KITS.html)

he sells the kits for a fraction of the cost he sells his finished knives at, the problem is i dont think i have the woodworking skills to turn the blocks into a nice handle, i could try and follow guides online and such, but i would like it to turn out great, if i were to do it myself i dont think the scales would turn out symmetrical, and it would look very much amateurishly done.

i was wondering if anyone here knows of someone that has experience in this type of stuff and could do a professional job?

i dont have the knife, i havent ordered it yet, im just trying to figure out how much it will cost me to have the handle made before i go ahead and order it.

thanks!

The only way to get better is to start.

Texas knife makers supply and Jantz sell kits for cheap that will produce a real nice knife with minimal skill required.
If it doesn't turn out as nice as you like you can drill out the pins on the handle and try again.
The nice thing is you can make it fit your hand not some generic idea of a hand.
