Only relaly hunted elk twice, I had some respond to bugles, and I snuck in on a nice big 6x6, but got busted by some unseen sentry cows!!

Tried the next day, but never saw the big guy again, just a weird antler formation 6 point. Which I didn't shoot.

I'm going to visit elkmaster this fall, get him to teach me The Force, like Obi Won Kenobi!8-)

One only, the only year I was able to go for elk. My buddy tagged out on a decent 6X6 between Revelstoke & Golden. MMMmmmmmm...Elk.

Probably in on about 25 kills. I plan to add to that this year! Called in many, and can say this is one of the few animals that can come in like a freight train and sneak out like a mouse, before I can see 'em or count to 6...

I still have 6 fingers left. That's all I need!

Hope I have enough to count up all the kids you're gonna have. Harper's new child tax credit is some incentive for a young buck huh? 8-)

I had to really think on this one.....been hunting 25 years now and I have tagged 22 myself ( 20 bulls and 2 cows) , I've been with buddies on their elk hunts thats 18 or so and I've guided 14 so that's 54 give or take a few.

Personally have taken 37, but have been in on at least that many more, killed by hunting buddies and relatives. Have shot quite a few more moose than elk. 50 years of hunting will do that for you!! Eagleye.

Around 30 myself and lots of other kills..No cows or calves, I have petted a few but never shot a flat top. Mind you I'm older than most here so got a head start..

An even Dozen for me, most were mine and the others were friends.
Four of them were nicely mached 4x4's, which I have been told is quite rare?
