Decent Mule Deer Buck For Ya........

Here's a decent MD off one of my cams from a few seasons ago.
Far from a real shooter but a Purdy darn nice MD.
This buck was issued a pass by 358mag and Elk-aholic several times and once by myself.
Don't normally post MD findings or kills but the information is old and useless now.

This buck is now deceased courtesy of a more than worthy hunter.

hmmm.. this could be interesting. Ears laid sideways and stretched tip to tip on my buck this year measured 21 1/2". This buck gives us that look part way through the video. I'm guessing he's 22-23 inside spread and 24-25 outside. Forks are pretty good. Someone else want to take from there?

Tall racked, deep forks, a little ways outside his ears, and a big extra point... awesome buck. Ourea you must be one hell of a giant killer for that to be "decent" in your books, but then again that would come as no surprise given the dedication you showed on your WT thread.

Best guess not having it in my hands I'd say gross around 182. Nice buck but one a hunter has to take a pass on if they want one North of 200" - provided the area holds bucks of that caliber and their freezers aren't empty.

Another medium class buck.
Saw him several times each of the next two seasons.
Unfortunately 358mag put him down on a weak moment on the last day of the season.

A nice buck regardless of the score, but i want to get better at the on the hoof scoring so to take it from coach, I agree 22-23 inch inside, nice deep forks going around 11" on the deers right, the left side forks are a little weaker with the front around 7-8", but with the big extra, he gains another 10" or so gross. Hard to tell in velvet, but his mass looks respectable, not huge, but over 5 inch bases. I am going to guess 190 ish gross, just over 170 typical with deductions. Am I close? I really don't care about typical, but i thought I would try.

Pretty sure the first buck in this thread gross's 180, and I packed it (the rack) off the mountain for the hunter.
Do correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm sure I'm not?
