Here is a preview on my 2014 WT hunt lots of videos and pic to come when I put my story up its not the buck I wanted Made a mistake latter when
I put up the full story all that look at my story videos will see why I was disappointed :frown: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ESiu_MWDZi8

leading up to getting this WT buck all started putting out my trail cams and salt blocks the buck I got this year was no where near a trail cam or salt block the nearest salt block from where
I shot this deer was 10k away.

The only time I ever took a animal at my bait station was this year with my bow kill elk its called using science if a person can use science then why not we use out trucks cars quads motorbikes
hi powered rifles scopes etc so why not trail cams and salt blocks..

Here are a few trail cam pictures and video clips of a few WT bucks.

This buck was the one I wanted he only showed up two times at my bait station the antlers as you see in the picture in mid july just can emagin how big they where come mid Aug
My thoughts are is that I think the wolves got him ???..

Val and me Enjoying retirement in the summer months and scouting that's what retirement is all about..

http://www.huntingbc.ca/photos/data/500/736.JPG

I did lots of scouting in the summer months and checking my trail cams on a regular base me up in my tree stand Sept 7,2014 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YzitAwZXwq0

The buck in this video was not the one I was looking for its called selective hunting two weeks latter a hunter took this WT buck https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iub3PyYAWfo

Its hard not to take a decent buck but if a person is looking for Mr big you have to let the smaller ones go https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Pm8rmZ180Y

I shot this WT buck about 200 yards from the road he was near the timber line I dragged the buck down to the spur road was steep down hill drag to the road had my saw in the truck and wanted to cut his ribs open front brisket to make for a easier cleaning job LOL at times the buck almost run me over during the down hill drag LOL ..

When I shot this buck.....https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ESiu_MWDZi8

I have shot the "wrong" animal a few times ..... Only when we are ready to go without any animal at all are we ready to graduate to the next level. Nov 15 in far to early to see the ALL the big ones AND their mistakes , that being said , I love your dedication and hope when I retire it will be in style like you Wayne!!!

My full story will be up today on how all unfolded getting this buck and yes your right it is the same spur road
I did not have the time to put up the whole story video clips earlier you know how long it takes to load videos up on
you tube I also had to get back into the bush to try to find Mr big I love filming wildlife as much as getting my meat.

Scouting to see what is in my hunting area for next year I have never been able to stay in my hunting area late Nov because the snow gets to deep up on the pass and I might get stuck in there there can be 4 feet of snow up there in late Nov they are logging in there hauling logs out till mid late Dec this was good they had to keep the logging road clear of snow when there hauling logs out..

I wouldn't think the wolves would take him down that time of year. Maybe now when they are weak or after the rut but almost never in August through September. Food is plentiful that time of year for wolves and deer are strong. Probably lived in another area, not far from there. Find out where! Would be unreal this fall if he is still alive!
