6x5 monster muley down!

Well the morning started off like any other up bright and early..it was colder then usual. Met my two buddys at the store and off we went. Plan was to go for a half day. Hike ] and drive in the truck if she was to cold. Tryed two different areas, seen a immature bull and a cow which made the day pretty good. We didn't see much for deer all day....just one lowsey doe. Pulled the whole oh theres a deer when no one was paying attention to wake everyone up once in a while. So we decided to call it a day and drive back. Decided to do one more little hike and a hundred yards into the hike this guy. . So i scramble load and the deer starts to move. The deer is between 250-300 yards in a grassy patch on a side hill. I quickly put it on him and BOOM! no clue if i hit him or not. He takes a couple hops up the hill then walks over a nole and i don't see him come up the other side. I look to one buddy and asked did i hit him? He says ya it looked like it. He flinched pretty bad. So we hurried up this hill. Came over the top and all i see is rack! Had to put one more in him to finish him. Got this guy to the taxidermist yesterday. Cant wait for the mount to come back!

Lots of good bucks taken this year. I don't know if predator #s are down this year but my buddy and I have seen soo many shooter bucks this year , more this year than I have seen in last 5-6 years combined
