The river valley doesn't look quite right, but the first thing that came to mind was the Nickel Plate Mine road just east of Keremeos.

West pavillion or Slok Creek FSR, somewhere in that area.

Either The power line rd or the Back road from Shalath to Darcy

You must not have seen many noth island logging roads! Especially roads to blocks that were originally heli blocks that have been converted to conventional.

That's awesome.

I've taken the Big Bar ferry, but drove to Jesmond, not the High Bar road to Edge Hills park.

I see the park is closed to hunting though.

The Big Bar ferry Rd, looking W to E across the Fraser R.

I had a smokin' set of brakes on that hill one year - and YES I geared down.

Add another vote for Cougar Point (or if that's wrong I'll go with some of the other guesses in the area: Big Bar, or Edge Hills-aka pack rat motel).

Hey MichelD are you sure the park is closed to hunting? I was under the impression it was just closed to motor vehicles.

Looks a lot like the bench road (at the foot of the Camelsfoot Mountain range) outside of Lillooet along the north side of Fraser River. The scenery in the photo resembles the area quite near the turn to the Upper Swamp Road heading into the Yalakom River country.

Sure pretty where ever it is.

My mistake Jaeger. Sorry.

On page 43 of the regs synopsis it is listed as a park you can hunt in.

Pretty nice picture and damn steep too. When i took my grandma from winnipeg over the Duffy Lake she put a bag over her head, no shit, and that was on blacktop. There is certainly steeper country up the mid coast and damn rough country to log in. I dont know how those lilloet loggers make a go of it with all the peckerwood and heavy abuse from the slopes on their machines???
