Caught these brutes on trail cam. First time we've seen G bears on camera.

I hope the pictures show up, first post, haven't ever tried the upload.

i was a little shocked to see these guys as it isn't far from civilization, and near a lot of agriculture/farm lands.

I will try to post better pictures.

If there are two hanging together in the fall, I doubt they are brutes.

Cool pics none-the-less!

I don't see why there wouldn't be. There isn't much space between them and the monashees, while I lived in nakusp I saw a good number of them up there and tremendous sign of them.

8-10 Took a drive up 3 Forks Rd last week and was lucky enough to see a mother griz with 3 plump healthy looking cubs . My son and I were quading on the road that passes by the snowmobile parking lot (maybe Tuk not sure) we pulled over at the second cut block to have a look and about 80 yards below us there they were .It only took them about 20 seconds to move into big timber so no pics. I don't know if there would be any food on that cut block but they were not very far from the river bottom. No deer but what a good day in the woods.

Seem to be showing up more frequently. There are a lot of rural homes and farms not far from here.

Anyone else seeing them more frequently?

Majestic animal. Hope someone eats him and makes a rug.

They have been around Park Mtn for decades, so I am told.
Haven't seen much sign in my 8-24 high country mulie haunt , but will be taking a closer look. The ranchers keep complaining about the g bears.
Wonder what the hunter success is.

Seems like 8-10 has steady sighting/encounters each year. I wonder why they don't open a LEH there.

There's been g-bears up in that part of the world for a long time. Back in early '80's I had a mtn goat draw for Tsuius Mnt area and a friend and I were camped out on a small snow field. He wakes me up in the middle of the night with "there's something out there". Ya, whatever, going back to sleep... in the morning we found prints that showed a griz had walked towards us, did a small detour around where we were sleeping and carried on.

By posting these pic's, I gues I'm just warning hunters to be aware of G bears even in non-remote areas. Prior to seeing these trail cam shots I always unloaded and put gun back in truck. It now stays loaded and within a quick reach while gutting a deer.

Be careful out there.

Lots of em in that zone. Seen 10 different bears in the back valleys behind Mabel in one season.
Never saw a person
