My dad and his brothers range from late 70's to early 80's.

They're still hunting, and arguing about who got up first in camp.

It's actually kinda funny, the knock on he side of the camper at 4am from my Uncle to wake up. And my dad yelling back he's been waiting for him for an hour already.

I’m in my 60’s & have no problem with walking all day up & down the hills. Until recently been brisk walking 2 to 3 miles almost each night. Also being a BCLS I do all of my field work each day.
When younger did a lot of heavy weight lifting & body building & some long distance running. Nowadays only use light weights in my own gym.
I never smoked, don’t drink beer or hard stuff & watch my diet-plenty of good quality meat & vegetables, some fruit & NO SUGAR or PROCESSED FLOUR(ever since I was a teen)!
Remember the old saying USE IT OR LOSE IT.
So far-same weight more or less-no ubiquitous pot belly/beer belly-never been on medication

What you are a BCLS? Did I hear that right?

Pretty much my story. Land surveyor, active skier, weight lifter, runner, now pushing 60 and still enjoy a hard elk hunt. Although I roll over the blow downs more than jump over them now. I continue to do a lot of line cutting with sandvik and chainsaw. For all the young kids thinking 60 is old. Get stuffed. When you age and look back you'll do so with more respect for those ahead of you. My Dad still comes to elk camp and hunts, he's now 85. He'll surprise you. Last LEH for goat was two years ago.

I'm 67 years old, don't smoke, drink wine and too much beer, a little rum in hunting season to keep the cold at bay. Started sheep hunting at 40 and collected the BC Slam by 62 goat hunted and collected several including a walk in road closure on a mountain bike ride of 15 miles November 11th still pack my own elk out a quarter at a time. Biggest think QUIT SMOKING.
