I shot this buck at about 60 yards. He was with a couple of does near the alpine in over a foot of snow. I was heartened to see lots and lots of deer tracks in the snow.

Nice buck! Good on you. I like hunting in those conditions; usually quiet, tracks easy, hang it on the spot for dressing, easier to drag and no dirt to worry about. Congratulations.

I thought he would be smelly, but he actually didn't. In fact he's the first November mulie I've ever killed who didn't stink

Right on. Howd you guys make out with the rest of your elk hunt on the Tuchodi?? :)

My partner arrowed a 4x4 bull, but it was so hot, we saw very few elk (2 bulls and 4 cows in 11 days). It was a great adventure, though, and I would highly recommend Riverjet Adventures.
