My 2014 black bear and mule deer

Hello everyone, I wanted to share my first black bear and my first mule deer. The black bear was taken earlier this spring. I had decided to check out a spot that I had noticed on google earth. I hiked in and right away I spooked a doe and that is when I knew I had made a good choice. I continued on and not 10 mins later I had this feeling I was being followed, so i quickly turned around to see a 2 point buck approx 20 yrds away. I was able to snap a few photos of him as him made his getaway. I was now super excited and feeling really good. On I went and suddenly I noticed a shape far off in the distance. I threw my binos up and saw 2 does and buck. I identified him as 4x4 and quickly got ready to stalk them down. As you know trying to hide in the middle of clear cut is really difficult and I was instantly made by the does. I decided I had no choice but to take a long shot before they spooked. I laid down aimed above his back, took 3 deep breaths and squeezed the trigger. I could see him hunch up and sway side to side like he was drunk. He laid down and that's when I felt the sigh of relief....
