Wow!!! Not the deer coming to life, but the position the shooter is in, in relation to the camera man. Meatballs.....

Good one.I know a guy who had that happen, except with a wolf.
Shot the wolf, then threw it in the jockey box, went to get the wolf from the box and the damned thing growls at him, shot 3 times through the back of the cab of his truck to finish off the wolf.
He said he just about crapped his pants, when he lifted the lid on that jockey box,and that wolf was still alive

Wow dumb, and he can't even properly finish it off from that close with the last shot anyways they leave it writhing on the ground while they all laugh about it. Talk about undignified.

A dads hunting friend once shot a buck near sunset, he found it missing an antler and assumed a headshot because it just dropped, it was dark at this point. After they loaded it and were driving back the thing jumped off the back of the truck and disappeared, they had only knocked it out! Guy was pissed because he already cut his tag too.

Agree with the above comments. Note OP's handle and compare to Youtube poster's handle....

I'm surprised this post hasn't been shut down yet. Two guys standing around laughing while an animal suffers is not the kind of publicity the hunting community needs. Very disturbing

Hilarious!

Heard a story about a local guy new to hunting that loaded one into the back of a mini van and had it come alive and kick the crap out of his interior trying to get away...nothing dies with it's eyes closed...

Is this guy a member of HBC he should be ashamed to even call himself a hunter.

I don't understand why people don't dress animals before they transport them..... I've seen it in Alberta and Sask.... Wtf is the point of bringing the guts home?

Is it laziness? Can they do a better job back at home?

Won't comment on the video... It speaks for itself.

Come clean mudbud, which is you in the video, shooter or cameraman?

Ha, neither is me, but I do know both of these goofballs. Needless to say both are off of my hunting partner list.

Apparently the thought behind not gutting the deer immediately was to continue hunting another buck they saw earlier and to use the hoist in the garage to skin/gut.

That's what I've always thought..... Just doesn't make sense to me .. Takes 5 mins to gut it and then you don't have to piss around with a mess at home....

Thanks for the reply....

Idiots on all counts in this video.

For the record, lets make sure I'm clear on your contribution OP;

1) Your name is almost identical to the poster of the youtube video.

2) You posted it here and titled it "funny".

3) Only one other poster here finds it entertaining ( "good one" ) and happens to also come from Tumbler Ridge as you do.

4) Now you are attempting to back peddle and appear unconnected to the event.

I'm calling you out as BS.

Closest thing i have had happen was with a duck. It dropped out of the sky like a stone. I picked it up and placed it in the blind and about an hour later is see some motion in the blind. By the time i could focus on what it was the duck was flying across the field and i lost sight of it as it flew off into the horizon.

Looks like poachers to me, load it quick before the landowner or passers by can see.... deal with it down the road.....Awfully suspicious behavior.

The video's been taken down from you tube - I'm pissed I missed it.

Check youtube for videos posted by "mudbud 4x4". There is another one up there that shows someone having "fun" with an already annoyed sow grizzly.

The video you missed shows a buck suffering in the back of a truck. When it gains the strength to leap out it stumbles and one "hunter" shoots it at point blank range with the other 'hunter" in the line of fire. The deer continues to die a slow death. The "hunters" are laughing and giggling the whole time like a bunch of high school morons.
