Any ideas why this little guy hasn't grown. Saw him in Sept. as well and he hasn't grown at all??? BTW this is today Nov 11 and -12 degrees

It either a cranbrook or Kimberly deer. We have had snow for 2-3 days now.

Head doesn't look right. Maybe it was born with a condition of some sort that is keeping it from thriving. Nature will take its course.

None of my literature on mule deer made any mention to this phenomenon. Ergo, this photograph is impossible.

Eyes have growths or abcess's under them. Late molt ...... arched back can be an indication of malnutrition ..... the future may not end well for that little fawn ....

He/she definitely looks weird, don't think will live beyond the winter months but you never know..

I also got a trailcam picture of one like that. Looks very healthy but must have been born very late
