opinions on 17ft Sea Pro

hey there, i'm looking at a 17ft Sea pro center console with a 75 etec on it......not going to be great for way off shore but how capable is this boat....i'm looking for something good around quadra, nootka....closer to shore mostlly.....just seeing if anyone has a thought on this boat, price is around 9 k with the 2011 etec. 17ft boston whaler montauk is my other option but about 8 k more....

Had a 19 foot center console... Center consoles are great for summer fishing and there normally wet boats. Took the odd greeny of the front and wet feet all around. I then moved into a 21 Trophy walk around
and now a 25' walk around with a hard top, a very nice option..

hey thanks, yeah for sure i know it'll be wet......but a starter boat to get me out there hopefully

Bought a 17 foot Arima ( Sea Ranger ) with a 115 Yamaha and have been real happy with it
