Hunting Auodad Looking for info.

Well, I've been kind of thinking about a guided hunt in next couple of years. I really don't want to spend a whole heck of a lot, so the Auodad is certainly appealing. I'm wondering if anyone has any experience heading down to Texas for one of these. Seems like prices range from $4000 to almost $10,000. Has anyone been? can you recommend a good outfitter? Or just share some stories with us?

My Aoudad is probably one of the coolest peices in my trophy room. The mount is stunning, and the animal is so unique that it draws several people to look at it first. I'll be going back in a couple years for sure.

Wow! What a cool looking mount for sure.Very impressive with the long mane/beards added to the goat sheep looks- sweet! Thx for sharing . Its easy to see why folks are drawn to travel to get something like this now. Good Huntin BULLNUTTS

Interesting, I just got this a few days ago from a customer in West Texas, I'll inquire as to the outfitter.

The aoudad came from Brite Ranch in Marfa, Texas.

My ram is a pretty 'average' or smaller ram. The benchmark seems to be around 30" or so and this ram was closer to 27" or so.

You'll have a blast I'm sure!
