Was so so busy, picked up a blue phase snow goose at about 5pm

I have very little experience with snows, so is that a blue phase or just an immature snow goose?
My son shot 2 on Sunday. One white with orange-pink feet and one similar to yours. We thought it was just an immature.

The mighty internet said both so I was unsure as well. One site said its a rare immature phase some snow geese go through. Another listed it as a plumage of snow goose called the blue phase. Which before I guess DNA tests was thought to be a Blue Goose and its own species. Mine was about 6.5 lbs - so in the range of a lesser snow goose.

Wikipedia says Snow Geese come in two plumages, white-morph and a blue-morph. But they also mate with Ross Geese, so maybe this is what the hybrid looks like.
