Has anyone out there who has had this tag before have any tip's or story to share? Or possibly anyone with some time spent in that zone? using this hunt as a stepping stone in to sheep hunting any info helps thanks.

By the way long time reader first time poster.

This should be an incredibly easy tag to fill tons of sheep, I have never sheep hunted but hunt chukar there last week and we saw probably 100 sheep, I think it's a park somewhere and go for a short hike find some sheep shoot a sheep just from what I can see, not an expert, I'd say park at Savona end of the lake just across the bridge by the cemetery and glass around walking along the train tracks looking up, we saw multiple full curls fighting, butting heads, and ewes everywhere

Hey Sandy, just go to the Savona garbage dump, then hike up the hill towards the cell tower. or you could get a boat ride across Kamloops lake then hike up the hill.

Here's a video from a couple years ago - in the zone you've drawn.

Good luck on your hunt. Take a camera and make sure you share your pics and vids with us. Should see some nice rams in there!

Drive to Savona and park there and glass across the lake. Find a ewe that's in an easy spot and go from there. Either hike in on the tracks or drive up to them from the west end of the lake. Shouldn't take you more then a weekend.
