That's awesome she is definitely setting the bar high for other young hunters. Though you better be careful posting her pic with a deer like that every single deer hunter under 30 is going camped out in your driveway waiting for her to turn 19. Not a lot of cute girls who have her skill set.

We hunted a drainage I have done a lot of forestry work in the last few years hunting several recently logged blocks. The day before, we saw a good number of deer including a young spike, which Jesse passed on, but her brother, Cody, jumped at the opportunity and filled his muley tag. Jesse was wanting something bigger as she has harvested several spike/forks in previous years. I knew there were some bigger bucks in there as I picked up some nice sheds when I was working. We headed up the drainage at first light, saw a couple of does lower in the drainage and then encountered this buck in a recent logged block that I had personally worked on. Using a Model 99 300 Savage, she made a great shoulder shot at approx. 180 yards.

I think HBC should hold a draw for BC resident hunters where the winner gets to hunt with their choice of HBC member... for me it would be a hard choice between Dana for a mulie, and ProGuide for a BT - hell I'd even take a rifle instead of a bow although my guess is in either case getting in to 30 yards would be realistic!
