Good one, in the past we lost a hind quarter of moose to a bear,and all ways wonder about a electric fence around the hanging meat.

My dad once shot a big Grizz 3 times in the ass at about 80 to 100 yards with a shotgun when they were on a Caribou hunt up in the Yukon. The bear would come into their camp trying to eat the Caribou heads. Couple warning shots and nothing. Guide said shoot it, so my dad shot it in the ass. The bear ran off, but as soon ass it forgot about its ass hurting(30 to 45 minutes later) the bear would wander back into camp and go straight for the heads. Guide says let him have it again, so my dad let him have another... same thing happened.... I guess the third time was the charm because the bear didnt come back after that.
