I got a nice deer earlier this year and finely sat down to post the photo but am having trouble with that.
Sooo this will probably be another useless thread. Unless someone could help?

put pic on facebook is easiest.
then just copy it and paste it here.
other method, put it on photobucket and copy link then insert link here.

Ahhh the story. so there is a little slice of bc that has always bean special to me. its a hi grass/alpine area that I first visited when I was 4 or 5. my dad took me grouse hunting for my first time.
It seams like there were big blues bursting out everywhere. Although I was young those memory's are what brought me back to that place. I poked in there about 12 years ago for o look. I bit my toung and told know one what I saw. It was only this year I was able to revisit the spot for a earnest hunt. We went in 3 days before deer opened to scope things out. upon arriving we were surprised how overgrown the trail had become. We set up a base camp and hiked in our spur camp to the top. The first morning we spotted a bachelor group of 5 with 3 absolute gagers in it. I had my hillside picked out! I saw them the next morning as well but then they evaporated opening day. I saw lots of nice 4point deer but I was holding out. on our 5th day dad and his hunting partner Peat had spotted a nice buck down along the tree line. we talked it over and I was passing, so was dad but Peater is newer to hunting and couldn't resist. So it was decided that I would sneak him in for a chance and dad would watch thru the spotter. 30 min later we found him in the trees. A 150 yrd shot and peat had a nice buck on the ground. Then the work started. Next day I saw another huge buck but couldn't make a stalk. We watched some others that didn't make the cut. the last morning we packed up camp and started heading down the mountain, hunting our way out. we saw 4 or 5 deer all small stuff, when I rounded a corner and across the gully was a good buck munching away. I stopped dad told him what I had just seen. I made a short stalk and It was a duck soup 140 yrd shot. I know where we will be opening day next year. I cant wait.
