Rialto road in castlegar

Anybody ever hunt up that road for whitetail? I see there is a vehicle closure at 11km. Is it worth going up and hiking around? Was up at nancy green this morning, didn't see anything.

anywhere lower in the valleys is good for whitetail, spend some time searching you may find some

It gets hit pretty hard being so close to Castleshwag! I believe the handicap permits issued for that road are in the 40's so a very good chance that you will have plenty of trucks drive past you smiling and waving as your hiking or biking your ass off 2 hours before light to get set up in your spot... Feels great.
