Going whitetail hunting

Ok! So the wife says what so you want to so for your 40th birthday? Well ummmmm I say lets go whitetail hunting! Im turning 40 so she agree's , as ive been out twice this year and with young kids its not easy to get away. Anyway , im not to experienced at hunting whitey's . I was thinking summerland area or any other suggestions would be great! I only have fri- sumday to hunt. Thanks

Try closer, anywhere in the Merritt area holds whities...I agree it ain't easy to get out as much with a kid er two... if your new to WT hunting, I'm by no means an expert compared to some on this site, but from my experience: look for drainage areas/lowlands/ swamps, find fresh sign, and sit...then sit some more... they usually are seen first/last light... my WT success has been through sitting, though still-hunting is alot of fun, but much more challenging..
