I am wondering if anyone is from the Lake Country(Winfield) area and could help me out. I am wondering if spine kopje is private land just above the lakes neighborhood. There is a fence up there a little ways, not sure if that means private land on one of the sides or just an old fence. I heard that the lower part was once leased by someone but no longer. I did see one guy come walking out on the carrs landing side with rifle in hand so I am assuming its public land somewhere. I get deer passing by the back of my place daily, so I'm thinking the population up there is good. Heard a doe calling early tonight, it was pretty cool. This is the first time I have lived so close to the bush, its awesome getting to see them so much.
