No, I don't think there is enough contrast there. Maybe if you brighten the image.
It's a nice pic though.

Maybe thats the point, death dark and dismal . Would be quewl with the ghost of a wolf or two in the distance on the right side.
Have found several like that and most of them were a lot younger in age.

I have a passion for black and white. That's real art. I'd do it on a sepia tone backdrop. Keep the detail in the horn, the round line work is in perfect contrast to the squareness of the surrounding rock.

For yourself or to sell? For yourself it's more to your taste! Personally I like the pic and can think of a spot it would work incredibly! Then at the same time I could critique the pic to how I would set up the composition for my own interpretation of what I want to convey with the image! Your image I'd have to guess? Have a place on the wall picked out? Print out a smaller version first and frame it. Frame and mat can make all the difference!

I think it would look good almost anywhere. best in more of a rustic house. just my thoughts.

That's a cool pic, it would look great blown up with 3 stage matt(white first, light grey, then dark grey) and a black frame. Good job on the pic!!!

The picture is raw, absolute purity and reality of the remote back country.
The file can be played with to get "the right look" to suit anyone's taste.

I search image sights for content to be used on product applications regularly.
This photograph speaks to me.
You have more than a great photo.

Ever consider either lightening the background (mountains, ricks, etc) half a stop and leaving the skull dark, or vice-versa?

I'd leave that picture just how you took it.
Another thought is put that picture on a t-shirt.

Very cool pic, but I think you can play with it a bit to really pull it out. Increase the contrast in the distant mountains so they aren't washed out and lighten up the foreground a little. It would look great hanging on the wall.

contrast is in the eye of the beholder...I find the contrasts dramatic and thinks it's terrific shot...

I think that pic is unreal! I think anyone who has put blood and sweat into a back country sheep hunt can relate.

Canvas is nice for some things , if you dont have one do it , then admire . And enjoy as i am sure there was a lot of work involved in getting there .

I'd make the blacks blacker.
and replace the horns with a nice four x four symmetrical rack.
and have it in a meadow's edge with some great sky-lined trees silhouetted.

also remember that putting it on canvas, you'll lose the fine detail due to the texture.

We found a couple dead Rams this year and took some pics 'hoping' to get one something like yours above. Didn't happen.
Great pic!
I do like what AD did to the pic to heighten the contrast.

Definitley hard to tweak the original without over exposing the mountain in the back. I agree with AD's comment on getting some more contrast, especially on a canvas print. Overall it's in the eye of the beholder, tweaked or not, make sure YOU like it, because it's going on your wall. Great shot!
