Heading to Pressy lake Oct 17

I am heading up around Pressey Lake on Oct 17. I am just wondering if anyone has seen any Immature Moose in and around that area lately. I am trying for Moose, Muley and Bear. Anybody know of any spots to try in there as I have never been there before but managed to get a friends cabin there for 2 weekends.

Just be sure that if you venture to the North side of North Bonaparte Road that you will be in region 5-01 where the rules are very different. There are lots of moose in the area, and in the summer there are plenty of deer around but this time of year the deer seem to move south toward Loon Lake.

Pretty sure the spike fork season there doesn't open till Nov 1 this year. May want to double check this years regs

Yes, you are correct. I am planning on one weekend for deer in that area and then the next weekend in the open area for spike fork moose. Then maybe go back in Nov for spike forks.
