Hi Guys,

Coming up to Kelowna from the Island for a few days and will have one day to get out hunting. Would you buy a Whitetail tag if you were me? I have my Mule tag already. Will be in the 8-10 area. Also any advise is appreciated but not necessary. Thanks.

Buy the tag and you wont see a whitetail. Don't buy the tag and you will see the biggest whitetail of your life that is guaranteed. For $15 I would buy the tag just for piece of mind that is will save you.

Mind you this weekend whitetail anterless open up. So if you are not against shooting an antlerless whitey I would definitely buy a tag as you have a way better chance at seeing one of those.

Plus you will see a 6 pt bull elk:-D

Will be the busiest weekend of the year in the bush.

I hear you guys. I wasn't even going to pack the rifle just the shotgun for grouse. But then I figured of course I will see the Mule Deer of my dreams and not have anything useful on me at the time.

Thanks for replies guys. I am just looking to supply meat for the freezer. To me it's about providing for the family.
