Just finish last day at work in kamloops, spending next 4 days hunting 3-19 for mule deer, won't take a small buck just something nice depending on the situation could be any buck, will be still hunting, hope to have some pictures later in the week, what has everyone been seeing in the area lots of deer? No deer? Activity? High low?

I haven't seen many bucks in 3-19, lots of does, seen 5 bucks in 3-18 though, 2 two points, spiker, 2 larger bucks, one of which I shot.

I haven't hunted 3-19, but I have seen good numbers higher up... Just not large deer. Lots of bear too.

Haven't been watching 3-19,,,,,,,but I HAVE been keeping track on movement in 3-20,,,,3-26,,,,3-27,,,,at least 3 days a week,,,,,,I been literally fallowing the does,,fawns and a good handful of bucks from the mid range altitudes,,,,dropping down close to if not already around the agricultural areas,,,,,,the bigger bucks I been seeing are averaging 15-30 km higher up in most directions of the MU's I been watching

I've been putting time in every weekend for 5 weeks for about 3 hours at first light and last 3 hours. Combo of glassing from a great vantage point for the 3 hours and then other times putting miles on the ground for the three hours. Generally around 4500 - 5000 feet. Both east and west sides of the MU. Still quite warm during the day so I peel out around 10ish and head back to fish or some other activity until 4:30ish.

Like others have said...no shortage of does, bears, hares, grouse and cows seen. Bucks, not that I have seen yet. But I am new to the game. Sure feels like I am doing a bunch of things "right" but very well could be lack of experience getting in the way as well. Mind you I am finding all the other critters mentioned when glassing or hiking so must be inching closer to doing the right things.

Also seem to be beating what look to be experienced hunters to spots that seem promising in the mornings. So I may be in the right spots...as much as there is such a thing. Or at the very least I am more willing to fumble my way in the dark more than them. ;-)

So take it with a grain of salt. But I am sure every bit helps.

passed on a 3x3 the other day in kamloops...probably only a 2.5yo, 3.5 at the oldest...figured I would let him grow bigger
