I have an invite to hunt some private ranch land near Williams lake later this month. Are there many (any) white tail there. Reason i ask is that I plan to spend last week of Nov near 100mile House hunting mule deer and want to save my 1 buck bag limit for that MU until then, unless of course I see a super muley!

Probably start by asking the rancher......

already have that enquiry underway, no answer yet, he's out fishing and won't be back until just before I go up, it's a last minute opportunity.

In 18 months I have seen 1 whitetail and 200 mulies. Have fun.

Thanks, that is useful, may not take up the offer, looking forward to the late season hunt.

Almost all of Williams Lake is Mule Deer territory. Now my dad's ranch between williams lake and quesnel is a different story. This is the first year I've seen more white tail than mule for some reason....

in an area of Region 5 I hunt not that far off from the puddle I have been seeing 60% mulies and 40% whitetail...of course no bucks. Most I have ever seen! Region 5 needs a whitey doe season!

Hey, am in LLH and would love to chase a whitetail. I'm a good shot, ethical, no safety worries and can dress out a deer with my eyes closed. Any hoo if there is a chance please call me 396-4403 Gary
