Are elk still bugling up north

Heading to chetwymd next week wondering if anyone hearing elk bugle, any tips on hunting mid October.

They are still being shot down here in PG, know of another 6 dropped today.

They are coming to calls.

Usually good till thanksgiving day

They were quiet last week near Dawson Creek; at least compared to past years.

They are bugling everywhere and will be for quite some time.

Not much sound out of them on the high pressure spots of public land north around FSJ, on private land they are making noise.
