Heading to castlegar next Sunday....

So it looks like I'll be heading to castlegar next week, it'll be a completely new area to me so I was wondering if anyone has any tips or pointers for me it'd be much appreciated, I'm not stuck on staying in or around castlegar I'd be willing to do a bit of traveling/exploring, so if anyone has any tips to help me break my 3 season rut I'm in feel free to help a brother out lol

dont waste your time hunting for animals that have been already shot. the squirrels are running strong tho.
