We had a great weekend of waterfowling in the Cariboo. Friday we did an after work hunt and nailed 5 mallards, 3 pintails, 2 teal and 2 Canada's. Then on Sunday morning the boys drug my sorry butt out of bed to do a morning hunt. We downed 16 mallards and 2 pintails. All in all a great weekend for and area that is not know for duck huntinghttp://www.huntingbc.ca/photos/data/500/medium/image21.jpeg

These are local birds. The migrating birds will be another couple of weeks yet. We can hunt most of November, but by the last week of November they are pretty much gone, or we have way too much snow.

I have just recently moved to the Quesnel area and it seems most areas are posted no hunting and no trespassing any one know of public lands that are accessible for water fowl hunting
