Whitetail in Williams Lake area - 5-14

Heading to 5-14 for a week long hunt for mule deer. We always drop a few animals amongst the group. The bag limit is for one mule deer so I am wondering if the whitetails have moved into this area at all? They seem to be taking over a lot of other typical mule deer range. Once I drop (hopefully) a muley it would be great to have a chance at a whitey.

Our groups been hunting deer there for years and we've never seen any whitetails but we've always stuck to the east of the puddle, so can't say anything about other areas

there is whitetail in 5-14, lots of farm land along the rivers though, which is where I have hunted whitetail in with permission from farm owners, but they do venture onto crown land.
